About Renew

In 2016, 1 in 6 residents from the six counties around Cleveland, OH was food insecure.  Food insecure is defined as “struggling to avoid hunger, hungry, or at risk of hunger, and hungry, or faced by the threat of hunger.”  That’s a total of 308,460 people.

In Cleveland alone, there are 20,000 individuals who are homeless at some point during the year.  The average number of homeless individuals each day averages 4,000 per night.

Our mission is to pray for and support the work of para-church ministries who meet physical needs in our community.  Many of our ministry partners are addressing needs such as providing shelter, meals, community involvement, education, and various care groups.  We want to come alongside them to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.
